LA Lakers - Most Loved and Most Hated Team

The LA Lakers are back! Shaq, Kobe and the rest of the Lake Show look like the favorites to win the 2004 NBA Title, after knocking off last year's champs, the San Antonio Spurs in six games. With Phil Jackson working his coaching magic, the Shaq Attack plus Kobe plus Payton and Malone is an unbeatable equation. Shaquille O'Neal is just too powerful inside and Kobe Bryant is finally focusing more on shot selection than jury selection and is the best all-around player in basketball. The Lakers are now taking on the Detroit Pistons in the Western Conference Finals.

When you're the best basketball team around, you're always going to have a lot of people who love you and a lot of people who hate your guts.
