Pokemon Diamond and Pearl :: Capture Darkrai at Toys ‘R Us

To celebrate the launch of the Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai DVD, the legendary Pokemon Darkrai is coming to Toys 'R Us so you'll have a chance to capture it! Darkrai is a spooky Dark-type Pokemon with the power to put other Pokemon to sleep and attack them in their dreams. There's no way to catch it by playing the game normally, only special Pokemon events can let you get this incredibly rare Pokemon! Here's the 411 on the first of these events.
Toys 'R Us Special Pokemon Event
On Saturday, May 31, 2008 and Sunday, June 1, 2008, Nintendo and Toys 'R Us are holding a special Pokemon event at Toys 'R Us stores in North America. From Noon-4pm, Pokemon fans who show up with a copy of Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl and their Nintendo DS will be able to access a special download. With the download, you'll get a key that will let you into a special hotel room. Settle down for a restful night, but be ready for a nighttime encounter as Darkrai enters your dreams and challenges you to a Pokemon battle!Battle Strategy
Brace for a serious showdown with Darkrai. It has a lot of attacks that put your Pokemon to sleep, a special power to damage them as they snooze, and more attacks that can really hurt you while you're napping! But, it still has weaknesses.Pick Your Pokemon
As a Dark-type Pokemon, Darkrai is weak against Fighting moves and its attacks don't do a lot of damage to Fighting-type Pokemon. Machamp is rock-solid in this battle, but expect it to spend a lot of time snoozing anyway.Items, Pokeballs and Strategy
Keep your healing items ready and stock up on Pokeballs for this one. A speed boost so your Pokemon can get off an attack before Darkrai sends them to snoozeland would be handy too.
