Top Five Worst Dressed Coaches
They might know the x's and o's of their sport, but that doesn't mean they know how to dress. Kidzworld counts down some of the worst dressed coaches!
#5. Mike Sherman
Mike Sherman is the new coach for the Texas A&M football team. Before he was the Aggies' head coach, he ran the sidelines for the Green Bay Packers. He ran those sidelines in bad style! He was probably the tackiest dresser in the NFL. He wore outdated and oversized sweatshirts and it looked like he even tucked them into his loose-fitting tan polyester pants! Lets hope and pray he doesn't make the same mistakes at Texas A&M this year!
#4. Pat Knight
Everybody knows of the legendary college basketball coach Bob Knight. Coach Knight was known for his great basketball mind, loose temper and terrible fashion. After Knight retired as head coach of Texas Tech, his son Pat took over. And just like his pops, Pat is a horrendous dresser. The T-shirt with a vest looks like he is a computer salesman instead of a well-respected basketball coach. No offense to any computer salesmen out there!
#3. Bruce Pearl
Just looking at that picture of University of Tennessee head basketball coach Bruce Pearl makes our eyes hurt. His poor players must be going blind by now looking at that bright orange suit every single game. Some might feel Bruce is being bold and unique, which he is, but unfortunately it is the wrong kind of bold and unique. Let's hope somebody steps up to the plate and buys Bruce a new suit!
#2. Don Nelson
Through the years, NBA basketball coach Don Nelson has constantly been voted on worst dressed polls. He rarely wears suits that fit him and he chooses incredibly ugly ties. Don has never been great at matching colors as well. In the past, he has hired different designers to help out his fashion sense, but even they failed to make Don look good. Now as the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, Don is still looking awful. His black jacket and blue polo shirt don't go together and his baggy tan pants with the out-of-date belt makes his look that much more hilarious!
#1. Bill Belichick
Bill Belichick is a true champion. He has led the New England Patriots to three Super Bowl titles and is one of the elite coaches in the NFL. So why does he dress like he is homeless? He wears a super baggy sweatshirt, then cuts off the sleeves? We know Bill is paid well at his job, so would it kill him to buy some nicer clothes? And Bill, please put down the scissors and stop cutting up your clothes!
