Sonic With Swords

Sonic's 3D adventures continue on March 3rd, this one called Sonic & The Black Knight, introducing some interesting new sword combat to the series. You use the Wiimote's motion-sensor to swing your sword as you navigate the world of King Arthur as presumably the fastest hedgehog history has ever seen. The game also has an interesting "knight rating" based on how you help (or hurt) the people you find around you. Get it before it's--- Whoops, Sonic's gone already. Hopefully he'll come back around by release day on March 3rd.

It's Time for Spring Training

On March 3rd, we'll also get the big baseball sims of the year, 2K Sports' MLB 2K9 for all the major consoles and Sony's MLB 09: The Show for only the PS2, PS3, and PSP. MLB 2K9 promises better ballpark realism and a simplified pitching process from last year's 3-step system. MLB 09: The Show has custom batter songs and a new version of the "Road to the Show" mode, in which you are a single player working his way up to the big leagues. If you have a Playstation system, MLB 09: The Show is probably preferable if you aren't sure which one you should get.

Activision Summons Bakugan This Fall

The world's largest games publisher, Activision, is going to bring the Cartoon Network and Teletoon series Bakugan to the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS in the fall. You can expect Activision to provide all the card-flipping gameplay you want, but there aren't many details just yet. Watch the teaser trailer here for an idea of the action coming to your console.
