Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

April 19, 2009 is National Pineapple Upside-Down Day!
Go head-over-hells for this yummy, upside-down cake!
Ingredients
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 cup milk
Directions
- Drain the pineapple.
- In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and butter. Pour the mixture into a pan.
- Arrange the pineapple slices over the mixture in the pan in one layer.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add the egg and milk. Spoon the mixture over the pineapple slices.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool outside the oven for 5 minutes and then flip it over onto a plate.
