Las Vegas :: See the World in One Day pg.2

Las Vegas is not just about gambling. And it’s not just for people over 21. Las Vegas is for absolutely everyone, offering a whole world of wonders jam-packed on to one grand and glamorous street—Las Vegas Boulevard.

Animal Habitats

Stop by the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage and observe not only dolphins, but >kwlink 15975>lions, llamas, cheetahs and more! For more feline fun, check out MGM Grand’s lion habitat. The Flamingo Hotel offers…you guessed it, flamingos! And last but certainly not least, head over to Mandalay Bay and experience an aquatic adventure like no other. You’ll see sharks, exotic fish and a 300-pound sea turtle!

Museums and Exhibitions

Madame Tussaud’s Interactive Wax Attraction is sure to leave you star struck. You can hug and pose for pictures with real-looking wax replicas of celebrities from both yesterday and today. You’ll find actors like Hugh Jackman, Brad and Angelina, and Cameron Diaz; athletes like Babe Ruth, Shaq and Tiger Woods; entertainers like Elvis, the Blue Man Group and Siegfried and Roy; and political figures like Abraham Lincoln, Princess Diana and Barack Obama!

If you’ve got a strong stomach, then check out the Bodies Exhibit at Luxor. You’ll see everything beneath the skin of 13 preserved bodies, along with over 250 individual body parts!

Shopping

The Las Vegas Strip is definitely equipped for shoppers. If you’re a brand name shopper and you’re willing to dish out a few hundred dollars for the perfect shoes or handbag, then head over to Caesar’s Palace or the Venetian Hotel. There you’ll find the hottest names in clothing and accessories—everything from Brighton, Coach and Louis Vuitton to Marc Jacobs, Gianni Versace and Dolce & Gabbana.

If you’re more of a thrifty shopper, no problem! Check out the Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood Hotel, the Fashion Show Mall located behind Treasure Island, or head off the strip to one of the many outlet malls! Also check out some of the Strips unique shops like the four storey M&M and Coca-Cola stores.

The Bottom Line

If you and your family don’t travel often, then Las Vegas is the perfect vacation destination for you. You’ll find a replica of nearly every amazing thing about the world on the strip. It’s a one-stop-shop, as they say, for those who want to experience the world in one day.

I'm sorry, but there's one thing I want to ask you, do you think it's right for a 1 year old to have a boyfriend? I'm sure most of us would say no. This is certainly similar for people younger than 16, 17 or 18, to have a boyfriend. There is truly a correct age based on the way you find yourself to be mature enough, usually 16-18 years old.  Based on when I was young, though, I had a bunch of friends who had boyfriends when we were in Gr 3. Surprising? Well, not really. It's usually just a minor romantic interest and eventually, you'll move on from your boyfriend because of boredom or old variety. Suffice to say, it's wrong to have a boyfriend at a young age, such as ten because most of us, at that age, were still immature enough to handle the responsibility of having the opposite gender as a romantic interest. This is my perspective, if you cannot handle it, don't ask for it.

I upgraded from 7. I really enjoy the start menu. The look and feel is nice. I like the apps available. Photos is a lot like Apple's iPhoto. I'm not too keen on it, but I'm glad the option to browse files is still readily there, and photos can be opened with other programs instead. Mail is mail. I prefer the more standard layout of my iCloud mail though. The multiple desktops, microsoft account login, notifications, and readily available search bar are great features. Microsoft Edge needs more help than internet explorer did. I've had to end a lot of tasks because it seems to run more in the background, but that's fine.  Overall it's been worth the upgrade.
