This deck focuses on the effect powers of the Blackwing cards, which allows the player to quickly find more monster cards and swarm the opponent while also messing around with every monster's ATK and DEF stats to deal massive damage. The spell cards Black Whirlwind and the trap card Icarus Attack fit the theme well by keeping the player's hand filled with cards and disrupting the opponent's strategies.

You can see that the deck follows all the basic rules: there are only 40 cards and less than 20 of them are monster cards. It doesn't really need any more since it is already designed to search through the deck for the desired monsters. The theme and synergy is incredibly strong, which makes the deck very consistent and easy to play no matter what your starting hand is.
