The After Party Bio

Jan 11, 2011

They might be called The After Party, but this hot foursome will be the act you want to see first. This all-boy pop band is coming out with a new self-titled record this Spring.

Life in the Fast Lane

Fresh out of high school the After Party formed a little under two years ago and quickly started catching people’s eye in the underground scene. Hailing from Kansas City the band is comprised of twinbrothers Alan and Andy Bell on guitar and drums, Brandon Stewart on bass and dreamy Kenny Greeley doing vocals.

Big Songs , Small Screen

At the end of 2009 The After Party recorded their first EP “All the Wrong Places,” featuring six songs and appeared on MTV’s hit show Teen Cribsshowing off the twin brothers' sweet house. Between the album and the TV appearance they had gained enough recognition that they could tour around the U.S., be featured at the Texas state Fair and showed off their musical chops in an all-acoustic tour sponsored by Hot Topic playing alongside popular acts like Cartel and Allstar Weekend. In 2010 The After Party played the famous SXSW (South by SouthWest festival) in Austin, Texas.

Sophmore Songs

Sharing the same producers as their tourmates Cartel , The After Party will be releasing their much-anticipated second album “The After Party” in Spring 2011, which they say will show their transition from adolescent songs into more Top-40 style music with songs like “Don’t Wanna Be” and “Secret Lover.”
