Justin Bieber’s Birthday Party: Who Would YOU Invite?

Feb 28, 2011

It’s a big, BIG day today if you’re a Justin Bieber fan! On March 1, 1994, Justin was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. 17 years later and he’s pretty much be the biggest pop star in the world! While Justin says he wants to have a “low-key” birthday, we wondered … if YOU were Justin Bieber, who would you invite to your party???

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!

(Psst: Apparently all Justin REALLY wants to do today is relax with family and eat his grandma’s cheesecake: “I only have, like, four days (off), so I’m just going to relax because I start my world tour – so (I’m) just going to mentally prepare and just relax. No birthday bash … Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I’ll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them. My grandma makes the best cheesecake – cherry cheesecake. She made that for my 13th birthday.)

No. 10: The Tourmate - Willow Smith

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Willow Smith, Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith

Fashionable Willow Smith is Justin’s tourmate, traveling the world with the famous popstar and performing at sold-out shows. So, it stands to reason that she would be attending his birthday party, right? We even think that Willow would bring her big bro Jaden Smith along – he and Justin are friends, too!

No. 9: The Singer - Jessica Jarrell

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Jessica Jarrell and Justin Bieber

There were rumors these two were an item for a while, but as it turns out, Justin and Jessica Jarrell just make beautiful music together! For that reason, she’d definitely get an invite to his party!

No. 8: The Rapper - Sean Kingston

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber

Not only did Justin and rapper Sean Kingston do a few chart-topping songs together, they also cruised around in P. Diddy’s white Lamborghini when Justin turned 16. Odds are, Sean would show up to Justin’s 17th birthday party fo sho – we’d be excited to see what he’s be driving up in!

No. 7: The Buddies - Christian Beadles, Chaz Somers, Ryan Butler & Nolan Murray

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Justin Bieber and Buddies

Chaz, Ryan and Nolan are Justin’s elementary school friends from his hometown of Stratford. Christian met Justin in Atlanta. All four boys have enjoyed a taste of fame as a result of their superstar pal, and they’ve each had the opportunity to visit Justin in various parts of the world. So, no doubt these guys would be invited to Bieber’s 17th birthday bash!

No. 6: The Ex - Caitlin Beadles

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Justin Bieber and Caitlin Beadles

Hmm – not sure what Selena Gomez[/kwlink] would think of this, but Justin’s a nice enough guy that he would probably invite his rumored ex-girlfriend, Caitlin Beadles, to his birthday party. Besides, her bro, Christian, is one of Justin’s BFFs…

No.5: The Manager - Scooter Braun

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Justin Bieber and Scotter Braun

Scooter Braun has been Justin’s manager since the very start; he’d definitely be at the pop star’s party! Scooter discovered Justin back in 2008 on YouTube and then took Justin down to Atlanta…and the rest is history…

No. 4: The Mentor - Usher

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Usher Raymond and Justin Bieber

After Justin’s manager introduced Usher Raymond to Justin, the R&B singer really propelled Bieber’s career to unbelievable heights. Usher helped get Justin his first record deal, and Justin regularly refers to Raymond as his “mentor.” Plus, JB NEVER forgets to thank Usher in an award acceptance speech!

No. 3: The Siblings - Jazmyn & Jaxon Bieber

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Justin Bieber, Jaxon Bieber and Jazmyn Bieber

Justin’s half-sister’s name is Jazmyn and his baby half-brother’s name is Jaxon. Both are little cuties just like Justin himself! They might be a little too young to attend a birthday party for their older bro, but we bet they’d make the guest list anyway!

No. 2: The Mom - Pattie Mallette

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Justin Bieber and Pattie Mallette

Pattie Mallette is Justin’s mom, and boy does he love her! There’s no doubt that she would be a VIP guest at his birthday party, if he was having one. As a single mom, Pattie did everything she could to encourage her son to follow his dreams. Justin says that it’s his mom who keeps him grounded to this day…

No. 1: The Girlfriend - Selena Gomez

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber

OK, can we out the rumors to rest already? Like it or not, Justin’s got a girlfriend: Selena Gomez. How do we know? Well, they went to the Oscar Awards together and got pretty cozy in a photo booth there… Either way, Justin and Selena are close enough that she would definitely, absolutely, 100% be asked to come to his birthday party.

Hello and welcome to the first installment of my new series "Alpha Reviews". Whenever I see a new movie, I'll write a review of it here. Don't worry, the first part of the review will be spoiler free, and I'll make sure to give a warning when I talk more about the specifics of the movie.  Today I'll be looking at Roland Emmerich's sequel to (arguably) his greatest work, Independence Day. His original alien disaster film came out in 1996, and while it wasn't a major hit with the critics, it trounced the box office by raking in more money than any other film of that year. Over the past two decades, love for the movie has only grown, and it's now seen as the ultimate popcorn movie.  So how did the sequel hold up? Well...it's not easy to tell. On the one hand, there are some things that this movie did really well. On the other, this movie had moments that I absolutely hated. This is such a hard movie to crituique. Not because there's nothing to critique, but because there's so much right and wrong in the movie that making a final call on it is hard to do.  For one, the story is serviceable. I can buy pretty much everything that they're saying. While there are a few obvious plot holes, impeccable writing isn't what you expect from ID.  The characters vary from the fun and interesting to the idiotic and annoying. Jeff Goldblum does a great job here, and so does Bill Pullman and William Fitchener. As for the new characters? Not so much. The (arguably) two main characters are played by discount Chris Hemsworth (Liam Hemsworth), and discount Micheal B. Jordan (Jessie Usher). Neither give a stunning performance. And my goodness, there is one character in this movie who is so stereotypical and unrealistic, that it literally made me facepalm when I saw it. You'll know who I'm talking about if you've seen the movie. But, the movie is set up so that everyone gets a healthy slice of screen time, so it's okay.  The action is phenomenal, but kind of unoriginal. The first real action scene we have is the destruction of London. Know what it looks exactly like? The destruction of Paris in 2012. Know who directed 2012? Roland Emmerich. Now, I'm one of the few who enjoyed that movie, so I'm fine with it. And most of the other scenes do have a more original feel to them. But, this guy doesn't stop at copying his own movies. There's an action scene where they're on the moon, it looks exactly like Prometheus. I guess I can forgive some of this, but come on, really?  The nostalgia was WAY off the charts. I count this as a category for review because it's what old movie sequels do now. Some do it at the right amount, some don't do it enough, and some...like this film...do it all the time. Almost everything is recycled from the past movie, and there so many callbacks that it's hard to remember them all. But I will give it credit, some of them had me laughing. But, some of them made we want to scream "You're not even trying!" in the theater.  All in all? I'd say that you need to see this movie if you had any enjoyment out of the first one. But, just know that this has a lot more nonsense to put up with, even though it does give much of the entertainment value of the first one in return. I can't guarantee that you won't be disappointed, but if you go into it expecting a mix of good and bad, you'll be glad to see the good parts of a true classic film on the big screen once again.  That's it here. What were your thoughts on the movie? Who do you think gave the best performance? What did you want to see more of? Post what you think about Independence Day: Resurgence below.
