America’s Next Top Model: Cycle 16, Episode 7 :: Eric Daman

Apr 06, 2011

One public catfight makes Alexandria look like the good guy in front of the judges. Check out Kidzworld’s recap of America’s Next Top Model (cycle 16, episode 7) featuring celeb stylist Eric Daman, which aired on April 6, 2011.

Breast Cancer Awareness

For this week’s challenge, the girls support Breast Cancer Awareness by posing for a Warriors in Pink campaign sponsored by Ford. Each girl must do their own hair and makeup to represent positive words like strength, love, etc. The winner of the challenge will be featured in a print ad. But there is something that their photographer/judge Nigel Barker doesn’t tell them until he announces that Alexandria is the winner—she also wins a 2012 Ford Focus! Seething with jealousy and resentment, Brittani explodes at Alexandria backstage, right in front of Nigel and the client. Oops!

“Crazy For...” Photo Shoot

For their photo shoot, Miss Jay takes the girls on a private tour through the movie sets in Universal Studios. There they work with Gossip Girl’s stylist Eric Daman in preparation for their shoot. The girls must act “crazy for” different fashion items like shoes, accessories, makeup, etc.

Confrontation and Elimination

Most of the girls have a decent photo shoot, particularly Jaclyn who receives best photo for acting crazy for makeup. Molly is the runner-up. During panel, Nigel brings up the fight between Brittani and Alexandria during their breast cancer challenge. Frustrated, Brittani cries after Tyra accuses her of being a bad role model, especially since that’s the reason Brittani thinks Alexandria should be sent home. She leaves Panel in tears, and returns to find herself in the bottom two with Mikaela. Tyra admits that if she hadn’t been out-voted by the other judges, Brittani would be going home instead of Mikaela.
