Tween Tourists: Fave Celeb Summer Spots

With summer here, everyone wants to take a vacation, and that includes your fave tween stars! Everyone deserves a break, especially when the paparazzi are always after you! Let’s take a look at some of their fave spots (and maybe yours too, if you’re lucky)!

Europe

One of the perks of being a star is the chance to travel anywhere in the world anytime you go on tour or open a movie, or even if you just feel like it! For the jet-setting Smith kids (Jaden and Willow), Europe is a stop they make all the time, especially since their dad Will Smith is also an actor/rapper. There’s no end to the old-fashioned wonders you can see “across the pond,” from the Eiffel Tower to Big Ben. The whole Smith family visited England when it was time premiere Jaden’s movie The Karate Kid, and with Willow Smith’s songs heating up the US charts this summer, they might find themselves showing the Europeans how to whip their hair back and forth!

Hawaii

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez said Aloha to Hawaii’s beaches recently, and we’re sure more young stars will follow where they (hope) the cameras won’t! The Biebz and his girlfriend had more than a few shots snapped during their romantic getaway, but that didn’t stop them from cooling off in the Hawaiian island of Maui’s beautiful blue waters! Palm Trees, beaches and Bieber, what more could you ask for in holiday?

Los Angeles

Lots of young actors and musical artists move to LA as soon as they sign that big deal, sometimes even the whole family moves (that’s what happened for Australian-born pop star Cody Simpson, and Disney’s newest find China Anne McClain) but even if you’re coming for work, to schmooze or just to attend award shows and auditions, The City of Angels has lots to offer. Great restaurants, showbiz parties and oh, did we mention beaches? Just ask Elle Fanning! She and her sister grew up near LA, but when they’re in town, the whole family still takes time to go to the beach and play around (although rumour has it, Dakota didn’t want to get her feet wet this last time!)

There’s No Place Like Home!

We don’t want to spoil one of our fave movies this summer, but Judy Moody And The Not Bummer Summer is all about how great it can be to have a stay-cation if you really put your mind to it. Actress Jordana Beatty, playing Judy, proves that even when your friends are going on amazing summer holidays, crazier things can happen when you just stay at home and look for adventure, or in her case, wait for your kooky aunt to help you shake things up!
