Fashion Police: 2011 Teen Choice Awards

Aug 09, 2011

Awards weren’t just being handed out for Choice Actor, Choice Hottie and Choice Twit at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards last Sunday; Kidzworld’s Fashion Police were also out in full force, handing out prizes for the best and worst dressed stars!

Best Dressed

Teen Choice Awards 2011Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber looked adorably rumpled in baggy jeans, a zippered motorcycle vest and his bowtie slightly askew!

Teen Choice Awards 2011Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez

Both Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez were gorgeous in yellow as they walked the blue carpets. We love that Selena chose to arrive with her BFF, rather than her BF!

Teen Choice Awards 2011Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift went all-out Hollywood glam in a white halter dress and silver peep-toe shoes!

Teen Choice Awards 2011Stefanie Scott

Disney darling Stefanie Scott went with a frilly white frock … and won! We think she looks summer sensational!

Teen Choice Awards 2011Blake Lively

Blake Lively looked lovely in orange – one of the hottest colors in fashion right now! – and hot, leopard-print heels.

Worst Dressed

Teen Choice Awards 2011Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks looked more than a little uncomfortable in a skin-tight leather jumpsuit.

Teen Choice Awards 2011Ashley Greene

Ashley Greene looked kinda “awkward” in this outfit – we think she could have put a little more thought into what she was gonna wear on the blue carpet!

Teen Choice Awards 2011Fergie

Fergie was … well, we’re not quite sure whether this star-spangled dress is good or bad. What do you think???

Teen Choice Awards 2011Kat Graham

Kat Graham from the Vampire Diaries is beautiful … but we’re not sure about her choice of outfit for the awards. Too much fringe, we think …

Who's Style Do You Like Best?

  • I really like Ashlee Simpson's outfit.
  • Sarah Michelle Gellar's dress is great.
  • Cameron Diaz really has the summer look down.
  • I think they all have great summer style.

While engagement isn't illegal for juveniles, marriage is as you can already tell. Judging by your feelings, I don't think the relationship will last long enough for him to be able to wait. I heard some courts will allow it, depending on location. Knowing whether her engagement is okay is a tricky thing. She seems pretty confident in the relationship. As for your own feelings, how well do you know him? Do you have any knowledge about him outside their love life? Do her parents know anything about him? If you don't now the answers, don't be afraid to ask them to her or her parents. I'm also a 16-year-old girl and I don't feel comfortable with it. Many young adults have a hard time understanding the transition from  teen to adult, but if he's put his problems on her, that's a bad sign. I don't think 5 months is long enough in my opinion and I think this could lead to making bad habits in a relationship. I appreciate that you're trying to help your friend be safe. Hopefully some of her closest people will help her with you. They don't necessarily have to steer her against him, but they should help guide her into deciding what's best ad how to carry on from that.

I don't even think that legal for a adult to marry a teen I think you should ask that part to make sure my theory is correct

Do your parents know her parents? Maybe you could get your parents to speak to hers. Or if not, maybe tell her parents yourself that you're concerned. Try speaking to her and making sure she's 100% sure about what she's doing?

So last year my friend got engaged at the age of sixteen to a guy of twenty-one and they only dated for 5 months at the time. I'm afraid she's making a mistake. They're still together, but her guy seems like he has a temper and might get abusive in the future.  What should I do?
