Star Fox 64 3D, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, and Driver: San Francisco

Sep 05, 2011

Well, summer is officially over and school is starting soon (Boo!). Luckily, we've got a lot of games coming out to help keep us sane. This week, keep an eye out for Star Fox 64 3D, Disgaea 4, and Driver: San Francisco.

Star Fox 64 3D

Do a barrel roll! The definitive Star Fox game from the Nintendo 64 is back, this time in awesome 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. Now, when you do aerial acrobatics, you can actually see your Arwing space ship jump out of the screen. You can use classic controls with the analog circle pad or use the Nintendo 3DS motion controls to move your Arwing. Local multiplayer allows up to four players to play against each other using only one cartridge and multiplayer mode features new power ups. New players and long time fans of Star Fox will all be impressed by this game.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten

The fourth Disgaea game arrives on the PlayStation 3 this week. This tactical RPG game is the origin of the Prinnys and will feature the peg-legged, winged penguins as optional bosses and involve them in the main plot. The game is silly, cute, and fun and has already gotten rave reviews in Japan.

Driver: San Francisco

Driver: San Francisco is the sequel to Driv3r, as the game takes place six months after the events of the previous game and moves the setting to San Francisco. You play as John Tanner, an expert car driver who has an ability to "shift" into another person's body and control them. Tanner is after a gangster called Charles Jericho, who also has the same shifting power.
