Well, the November rush of game releases has passed and things are slowing down again. However, if you somehow already beat all the recent games and are looking for new challenges, you're in luck! This week we take a look at Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights, Just Dance 3, and The Oregon Trail.
Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights
Professor Layton is going to have some competition and Doctor Lautrec has already beaten him to the Nintendo 3DS! The art and animation style of the two games are very similar. Play as treasure hunting doctor in Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights. Similar to Professor Layton games, there will be many puzzles to solve. However, Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights also mixes in RPG-styled exploration and summon animal spirits to do turn-based combat!
Just Dance 3
Just Dance 3 has already come out for the Xbox 360 and Kinect. However, now it is the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Move's turn to party! Just Dance 3 is a friendlier, easier dancing game that is perfect for parties and casual groups. Featured artists in the game include Britney Spears, Beyonce, Shakira, Katy Perry, Cee Lo Green, Nelly Furtado, and Gwen Stefani.
The Oregon Trail
The classic educational game from the 70s is back and on the DS! The Oregon Trail has been updated once more and now it's your turn to recreate history as you take your family cross country through the harsh realities of 19th Century pioneer life. Hunt, keep your family alive, and ensure you always have cash on hand. Will you be able to avoid dysentery and make it to Oregon?
