Glee: Season 3, Episode 10 :: Yes/No

Sam and Mercedes break down their summer romance in Glee’s own rendition of Grease’s “Summer Nights”. But, somewhere along the line their romance ended and Mercedes found a new man. Wanting to impress Mercedes, Sam joins the synchronized swim team.

Love is in the Air

In fact, all of McKinley is buzzing with love. Romance – and marriage – seems to be on the brain. Coach Beiste reveals that she eloped. This makes Emma jealous, since she wants Mr. Schu to propose to her. Luckily, Mr. Schu was already thinking the same thing. He asks New Directions for some help coming up with a special proposal performance.

Marry Me?

The glee club suggests a variety of songs, but Mr. Schu finally settles on one: “We Found Love” by Rihanna. He enlists Sam’s help and puts together an over the top proposal complete with white roses, synchronized swimming and a white tux. Of course, Emma says yes!

Broken Hearts

Elsewhere, Becky reveals that she has a crush on Artie and asks him on a date. Not knowing what to say, he agrees to go to dinner at Breadstix. In the end he has to tell her he doesn’t want to be her boyfriend. Finn is going through an identity crisis after he finds out his dad didn’t die in the army, but overdosed on drugs. He is determined to be more of a man, and in the final scene asks Rachel to marry him!! The show cuts out before her reply, so we need to wait another week to find out her response.
