Glee: Season 3, Episode 15 :: Big Brother

Apr 10, 2012

This week on Glee (Season 3, Episode 15), we find out what happens to Quinn after the accident. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “Big Brother”, which aired April 10, 2012, to find out what you missed!

Don’t Text and Drive

Everyone has been wondering what happened to Quinn after the cliffhanger car crash from last episode. Luckily, Quinn survived, but her spine was severely compressed. She is currently in a wheelchair, but the feeling is coming back in her legs, so she might be able to make a full recovery. In fact, she is determined to be dancing again for Nationals.

Brothers

Blaine introduces Kurt to his brother Cooper, who became an actor after making it big in a commercial. Kurt and Sue are both overjoyed to meet him since they are such big fans. Sue even asks him to teach the New Directions about acting and how to be successful and famous. But, thinks don’t go as smoothly as she hoped when Blaine and Cooper disagree about the advice he is giving.

Wedding Woes

Because of Quinn’s accident, Rachel and Finn decided to postpone their wedding. Now, Finn is having second thoughts. Rachel wants to move to New York, but Finn thinks there might be other options for him – like going to California with Puck.

Senior Ditch Day

It’s Senior Ditch Day at McKinley High, and the kids are trying to figure out what to do! They decide to go to Six Flags, but Artie and Quinn can’t go. Instead, Artie takes Quinn to a skate park for kids with disabilities. Artie tells Quinn she needs to recognize she might not make a full recovery.

It included a lot of mature themes and it really connects with today's older youth. You mean violence wise? Not just that, but the show tells the stories of the characters finding themselves. Take Asami for example. A lot of people have a late relative and another relative involved in some kind of trouble. She had her relationships AND family business to take care of, which relates to some of today's youth who feel like they have the whole world on their shoulders. They're starting to have to take responsibility for things they can hardly manage, and seeing the triumph of a character like Asami is truly inspiring. Her mother's dead, her father's in prison, her boyfriend was stolen from her, and her business nearly failed. But she did not give up, which sends a positive message to today's generation of teens. Mako was not stolen from Asami he just chose Korra and everyone knows that thats what people wanted. As messed up as that sounds its the truth.
