Serena, Where Are You?
When the summer winds to a close, everyone discovers that no one has heard from Serena all summer. Not even Gossip Girl has reported on her since the Spring. Immediately, her friends fear the worst - mental institution, rehab center? But what they find is far from what they ever imagined.
The Serena Search
Under Georgina’s watchful eye, Dan leaves his Italian writers’ retreat, Blair leaves Paris and Chuck leaves Dubai so that they, along with Nate, can search for their missing friend. Thanks to Gossip Girl’s last minute tip, they find her sane and drug-free at a wedding at a secluded mansion outside of the city. They immediately assume the wedding is for her and her new boyfriend, and they try to put a stop to it, only to disrupt the two grooms as they prepare to walk down the aisle.
Ivy's Plan
Meanwhile, Ivy has become very chummy with Rufus, which is all part of her diabolical plan to take down Lily. Lily accuses Rufus of having intimate relations with Ivy, which isn’t true…until the end of the episode. Dan returns home from the Serena Search to find his father and Ivy in bed together.
