Kidzworlds Gary lists the top five games of 2002 for Xbox, Playstation 2 (PS2) Gamecube, Game Boy Advance PC and more! Warcraft, Yugioh and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 rank as some of the best.

Hey peeps, welcome to the end of 2002! Whether you have an Xbox, Gamecube, Playstation 2, PC or Game Boy, it's time to check out which games are the hottest games of the year. There have been some awesome contenders this year. Classic games like Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos are back in town, Metroid is back on the Gamecube, Tony Hawk is kick-flippin' his way into every console on the planet, Final Fantasy and Disney got together to party and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are everywhere.

Here's the breakdown on what games kicked the most butt this year.

1#5 - Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos

The Warcraft game series, by Blizzard, has kicked butt, taken names and ruled for years. The latest, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, adds a third dimension to the game of strategic fantasy battle, features a wicked storyline, a sweet lookin' game manual and free online action hotter than Avril Lavigne. All this good stuff makes Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos one of the top games of 2002, just make sure you watch who you talk to when you kick butt online.

1#4 - Kingdom Hearts

Squaresoft took all the cool characters from Final Fantasy, mixed them up with all of the classic stars from Disney, added in a huge world full of adventure and called it Kingdom Hearts. If you're a Playstation 2 owner, this game should be near the top of your "gotta get it" list.

1#3 - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3

Whether you're on an Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube or even a PC, the Hawk rocks. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series of skateboarding games mixes up cool tricks, awesome graphics, insane courses, tons of hidden surprises, custom tracks and rippin' tunes. Say it with me now - "The Hawk Rocks!"

1#2 - Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a phenomenon that's everywhere - it's on TV, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Playstation and the awesome Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The Yu-Gi-Oh! card game lets you duel your friends with summoned monsters and spells right out of the TV show. You can command Kaiba's Blue Eyes White Dragon, Yami Yugi's Dark Magician and more. Best of all, is that Upperdeck Entertainment is backing up the game with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist's King Tournament League that lets you win duelist-only cards, score special prizes and prove that you're the greatest duelist of all!

1#1 - Metroid Prime

When you first play Metroid Prime, wear a bib so you don't drool on your Gamecube controller and short it out. Metroid Prime is, hands down, the sweetest game of the year and the best game yet for the Nintendo Gamecube. It combines insane action with puzzle solving and graphics so good you'll have to pinch yourself to make sure you aren't dreaming. And the best part is that the hero, Samus Aran, is a butt-kicking, action-hero girl!

Stick around peeps, Gary's gonna be back with more info on the lamest games of 2002 in just a few days. Until then, Happy Holidays!
