Nintendo Drops Gamecube Price

Nintendo is lowering the bar on the video game competition in Canada in June 2003 and if you're a gamer, you're gonna love this news. The official word is that the Canadian dollar is gettin' stronger so the big N is making it easier than ever for gamers in the frozen north of Canada to pick up a Gamecube and games for low, low prices.

The price drop is gonna hit stores on June 07, 2003 and, for a limited time, you'll be able to snag a Nintendo Gamecube video game console for $199.95 CDN. That's a savings of $30 CDN. You can invest that dosh in a couple of extra large pizzas for you and your friends to munch on while you play a ton of cool games like Metroid Prime, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and more!
