2000 (J Records)

To the delight of their adoring fans, the highly anticipated first CD from
O-Town is out. The handpicked group from the reality show Making The Band released the album's first single, Liquid Dreams and O-my the fans seem to dig it! It's not hard to understand why - it's all the things a pop song is made of. It's all about catchy beats, sweet blended vocals and lines to snag any girl's heart. It works for one single, then the album falls short. What works on one song is then copied throughout the album.

The tone of the CD is sugary R&B, hip-hop and dance with a general "Be my girl" theme. The sound differs slightly on Love Should Be a Crime, an edgier song with guitar rifts and fewer dance beats. The heart-felt All or Nothing is also a nice change from the over-produced dance tracks that fill the album. Fans may recognize the familiar All For Love which became the trademark song for Making The Band. If you really like the first single Liquid Dreams then you will probably love the CD, but if you're expecting them to mix it up, like other pop groups have been doing lately - don't hold your breath.

No offense, but everyone keeps singing that song, and it's getting so old, I hate it so much!!!! I made some really funny, but offensive theories of Elsa, and I hate it so much, like I want to blow up Disney for that.

I dont like it much, though i probably would if it wasnt in the movie and i didnt have to hear people singing it in the halls every time i past by. Now i find myself banging my head on every door/desk/wall/person etc. i can possibly find just to get the song out of my head.
