Bow Wow Unleashed Interview

By: Sindy

Bow Wow is ready to take on the world, again. And, if his new album, Unleashed, isn't enough to do it - he's also got new flicks and a TV show! I was lucky enough to score some talk-time with the dawg himself and decided to let you guys ask him most of the questions! Check it out!

Sindy: Hey, Bow Wow! We have a lot of Kidzworld members who totally love you and we're letting them ask the questions today.

Bow Wow: Cool. That's cool.

Sindy: Here's the first one: sexigurl3469 wants to know if you feel your music has changed now that you're older?

Bow Wow: I feel great because it's kinda like the new Bow Wow. Everyone was testing me, as far as me growing up and maturing, I love it. There's definitely a new image for me.

Sindy: A lot of members are excited about your new tour that's been lined up and they'd like to know what it's going to be like. Any surprises?

Bow Wow: Oh yeah, most definitely! Definitely some surprises! It's definitely different from the other tours that I've done. It's definitely a new thing. I'm doing different things and I'm really going to surprise a lot of fans when they come and see me perform. Even my wardrobe is different and it's definitely going to be fun. I'd like to see the crowd's response when they see me.

Sindy: Very cool. I'm excited for it. A member named luvbowwow4ever wants to know if you ever get tired of touring and just want to go home?

Bow Wow: Oh yeah, you always get like that - without a doubt! I mean almost every other day I get like that. Sometimes it seems like it's too much.

Sindy: Since you can't just up and leave, how do you get over that feeling?

Bow Wow: I just think about the fans, you know? People paid money to come and see me, so when I get like that I think of the fans. It's kind of crazy, man, but anytime situations like that occur, I just think about the people and how upset they would be. I don't want to make the people upset because then they won't go out and support me. I'm always thinking about the people.

Sindy: Lately you've been sporting a pretty fierce tattoo. Members like Jozzette and Babby_bribri wanna know if it's real or not?

Bow Wow: Oh, it's real.

Sindy: Did ya worry about getting something so permanent?

Bow Wow: Nah! Not at all. Not at all. I knew what I wanted.

Many of the reviews and critics say it's bad because they are only looking at it from 'comic to movie' perspective. It was still a really cool movie and you should go see it. I'd have to agree with this. The movie itself was great. I think some people looked at it poorly because they were expecting something more similar to the older films or comparing it too hard to the comics. I personally think that it was a great way to reinvent some of the characters.

"It's so hard to talk when you want to k-ll yourself. That's above and beyond everything else, and it's not a mental complaint-it's a physical thing, like it's physically hard to open your mouth and make the words come out. They don't come out smooth and in conjunction with your brain the way normal people's words do; they come out in chunks as if from a crushed-ice dispenser; you stumble on them as they gather behind your lower lip. So you just keep quiet.” Ned Vizzini, "It's Kind of a Funny Story"

“Isn't there something in living dangerously?' There's a great deal in it,' the Controller replied. 'Men and women must have their adrenals stimulated from time to time.' What?' questioned the Savage, uncomprehending. It's one of the conditions of perfect health. That's why we've made the V.P.S. treatments compulsory.' V.P.S.?' Violent Passion Surrogate. Regularly once a month. We flood the whole system with adrenin. It's the complete physiological equivalent of fear and rage. All the tonic effects of murdering Desdemona and being murdered by Othello, without any of the inconvenience.' But I like the inconveniences.' We don't,' said the Controller. 'We prefer to do things comfortably.' But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin.' In fact,' said Mustapha Mond, 'you're claiming the right to be unhappy. Not to mention the right to grow old and ugly and impotent; the right to have ######## and cancer, the right to have too little to eat; the right to be lousy; the right to live in constant apprehension of what may happen tomorrow; the right to catch typhoid; the right to be tortured by unspeakable pains of every kind.' There was a long silence. I claim them all,' said the Savage at last. Mustapha Mond shrugged his shoulders. 'You're welcome,' he said.”
