From Katelyn Tarver, to Tori Thompson, to that super-cutie A.J. Melendez - who's gonna end up in the American Juniors final five? Sindy thinks she knows! - Page 1

By Sindy

Okay, I gotta say, that I love the fact that TV is no longer rerun central in the summer months! Shows like American Juniors really give me something to do other than watch Buffy head off into the sunrise, again. Anyway, I am so into this American Juniors TV show that I have decided to share my predictions for who will be joining Taylor Thompson in the newest pop group. Check 'em out!

Taylor Thompson

Okay, we already know this girl is in the American Juniors vocal group. If ya ask me, I don't think she deserved to win as quickly as she did, but hey, you didn't ask me. Anyway, Taylor Thompson definitely has stage presence and she's got personality. Taylor's immediate win will probably create a little drama on American Juniors, (which is always good,) since her sister, Tori Thompson may not make the cut.
Taylor Thompson Facts
  • After making the American Juniors vocal group, Taylor Thompson told Ryan Seacrest that "All of my dreams are coming true..."
  • Taylor is still hoping her sister, Tori Thompson, will make the American Juniors group.
  • Taylor says when she grows up she wants to be a singing, dancing veterinarian.

    A.J. Melendez

A.J. Melendez has girls swooning on American Juniors!

A.J. is a total cutie! He's gonna be a real hottie when he gets a lil' older and he's definitely got some style. Also, A.J. Melendez has got some pipes. I'm thinking it's not too long before he finds himself sitting pretty alongside Taylor Thompson as the newest member of the American Juniors vocal group.

    A.J. Melendez Facts

  • A.J. is short for Adiel Jose.
  • He's 12 years old.
  • A.J. Melendez is from Delaware and digs Salt & Vinegar chips.

1The final five will be Taylor (obviously,) Lucy, Katelyn, Danielle and Chauncey.

It included a lot of mature themes and it really connects with today's older youth. You mean violence wise? Not just that, but the show tells the stories of the characters finding themselves. Take Asami for example. A lot of people have a late relative and another relative involved in some kind of trouble. She had her relationships AND family business to take care of, which relates to some of today's youth who feel like they have the whole world on their shoulders. They're starting to have to take responsibility for things they can hardly manage, and seeing the triumph of a character like Asami is truly inspiring. Her mother's dead, her father's in prison, her boyfriend was stolen from her, and her business nearly failed. But she did not give up, which sends a positive message to today's generation of teens. Mako was not stolen from Asami he just chose Korra and everyone knows that thats what people wanted. As messed up as that sounds its the truth.
