Hey Coach,
I know everyone likes to hype and pump up Lebron James but what about Darco Milicic? Who do you think will be a better player in the NBA this season?

Hey CHICHI,
Lebron James may get too much hype but he will have way more of an impact in the NBA than Darco Milicic. Lebron James is a well-rounded player with a ton of talent who can play at guard or forward and easily beat players one-on-one. Nike gave Lebron 70 million bucks to wear their sneakers for a reason. Lebron James may be only a few months out of high school but he is the real deal and is ready for the pros. During the summer, Lebron James scrimmaged against other NBA players and showed flashes of both brilliance and inexperience. Lebron's expected to start for the Cavs this season, probably as a shooting guard.

Darco Milicic, who was picked second overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, is a different story. He's a seven-foot tall, Serbian white guy who admittedly smokes cigarettes as part of his training routine. The Pistons already have one of the best centers in the NBA with Ben Wallace, so Darco Milicic will be spending more time picking splinters out of his butt on the bench than setting picks on the basketball court.

The bottom line is: Lebron James is going to be an NBA star, while Darco Milicic has the potential to be a star but could also end up being a big-time dud. The first episode of Lebron vs. Darco will take place on October 7th when the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons play each other in the first game of the 2003 NBA season.
