Disney's Party: Gamecube Game Review

Gary reviews the Disney's Party Gamecube mini-game video game, starring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Daisy, from Electronic Arts!

The game maniacs at Electronic Arts have spent a ton of time partying with the Disney crew - Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Daisy, and more. Now they've stuffed all the animated antics into a Nintendo Gamecube video game so you can take it home and play the party games with your friends!

Disney's Party Breakdown

This game is all about choosing your fave Disney character, moving around a board and collecting items. You get items from shops, random encounters, and from kicking butt at mini-games! Once you get enough, you can build rows on a game board and advance to the final mini-game to win.

Disney's Party Fun Stuff!

Disney's Party rocks your socks with the Disney crew - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and some weird ghost dude are all chillin' in Disney's Party for the Gamecube. They even have their own moves and comments to add while you play the game with up to four of your friends.

Disney's Party Gate Crashers!

The bummer is that the Disney characters are too cool for this stinker of a video game. The biggest problem with Disney's Party is that it takes forever to get to play one tiny mini-game. You can speed up the between-game stuff, but there's so much of it that you'll spend about 10 minutes staring at junk before playing another game that only lasts for a minute or two.

Disney's Party Final Score

This game needs a kick in the shorts! It's too slow for a party game and too weak for anything else. Rent it if you're a hardcore Disney fan, otherwise you're better off watching TV.

How Hard Is Disney's Party?

It takes forever to learn all the controls, then the games are fairly easy.

Disney's Party Age Rating: Everyone.

Disney's Party Thumbs Up:

  • Party with Mickey, Goofy, Donald and more!

    Disney's Party Thumbs Down:

  • It takes forever to get to a game.
  • The mini-games aren't very good.
  • The voice of the ghost is terrible.

    Disney's Party Game Rating: 2

What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/LInux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

No they shouldn't be allowed to play video games.  The best thing for women to do is to go out and settle down with a nice dindu as soon as they reach the age of 18.
