The Weasels have dog-napped Pluto and his diamond studded collar and are high-tailing it across the country with the poor pooch. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and even Pete show up to rescue Pluto. Pick a driver and let the race begin!
Mickey's Speedway USA Good Stuff!
Mickey's Speeway USA is loaded with
cool options and different modes of play. You get your choice of six
racers, plus four more you can
unlock later and a ton of racing modes including linking to your buddy for
multiplayer action. You can take driving tests, run time trials and earn Gold Stars for bonuses. That'll keep you busy till you hit the open road. You can pick your difficulty level and play across 21 courses from Montana to Texas.
While you're cruising check out the sweet graphics. The drivers look like the Disney characters and the courses are awesome. Loaded with curves, jumps, shortcuts and power-ups - they're a blast. Whether your racing in a snowy tunnel in Montana or leaping the Grand Canyon you'll be glued to your screen.
Mickey's Speedway USA Wipeout!
The only problem is the story. Ok, the Weasels have kidnapped
Pluto and it's time to rescue him, that makes sense. But you end up racing against your Disney buddies rather than chasing the Weasels. That makes no sense. If someone steals your
dog you're gonna go right after them and give them SUCH a
wedgie. You're not gonna get your friends together and run laps around the block to see who's fastest. Weird. Fun but weird.
Mickey's Speedway USA Final Word!
Pick it up, plug it in and race away. It'll look even better on the Nintendo
Gameboy Advance.
