Survivor - Episode 5
Episode 5 has a little more excitement than Episode 4 had, both in the camp and at the challenges.
Kimmi's in trouble from square one. She won't wash in the 'grungy' water so she's dirty and smelly and she has a big shouting match with Alicia about the chickens.
Colby's a wanted man in Ogakor. He's being pulled back & forth between the two groups - Keith and Tina want his vote for Tribal Council, but so do Jerri and Amber. The cowboy's having none of it though - he's got his own plan and he's sticking to it.
Outside of camp the challenges keep coming. The first is for blankets, spices, soup mix, a toothbrush & shampoo. It's a physical challenge. The teams build stretchers to carry their teammates through an obstacle course for the win. Kucha recovers from a slow start for the win and the prize. Ogakor takes it hard, Amber's on the edge of tears and Colby's ready to have a meltdown.
The second challenge puts the Survivors in a maze to find numbered tokens. The two teams wind their way through the labyrinth shouting directions as they go. Having to stick together as a group puts the teams on even footing and Ogakor, finally, manages to pull it together and score a win.
Some pre-council plotting at Kucha lines up Kimmi and Alicia as victims for the night but when council time comes Kimmi takes a 6-1 hit and gets booted from the island. She wishes her team well and heads off to a big meal and a warm bed.
The biggest shocker of the episode was the preview of Episode 6. Someone ends up on the wrong end of some dangerous wildlife and has to get helicoptered to a doctor. What's on it?
