Pokemon TCG: EX Emerald Set Review

Hey Pokemon trainers, it's EX Emerald time! This new batch of cards for the Pokemon card game is bringing two new custom-built theme decks and 106 new cards for you to collect. It includes the high-speed form of Deoxys, new Regi-rock/ice/steel Pokemon and more! Here's all the Pokemon news for you with our card game review.

Peeking Into the Pokemon TCG: EX Emerald Expansion Set

This set of Pokemon cards has Deoxys, Deoxys ex, Regice ex, Regirock ex, Registeel ex, Raichu ex and even a shiny foil Pokemon Rayquaza card. There are also sweet looking foil card for each kind of Pokemon Energy - so you could make an entire deck out of foil cards if you wanted.

New stuff! Lots of it!

You can make a shiny all-foil-cards deck.

Lightning and Fire Pokemon team up to take on all challengers in this deck. From Pikachu to Torchic and even the mighty Blaziken - these Pokemon are yours to command. Just watch out for Water Pokemon, they'll soak your deck and beat you easily!

Lots of Special Condition attacks.

You'll get stomped by the Hydrobloom deck.

Pokemon TCG: EX Emerald Hydrobloom Theme Deck

Leaf and Water Pokemon are yours, from Mudkip to Treecko and more evolved Pokemon like Marshtomp! This deck gets a bit tricky cuz of all the Weaknesses and Resistances, but it's great for players with a little bit of experience.

Hydrobloom Theme Deck Thumbs Up:

Mudkip and Marshtomp are awesome.

You can cream the Wildfire deck.

Lots of strong evolutions.

Treecko and Feebas are super weak!
