Do you remember when you were little and all you did all summer long was run around in the sprinkler and play hide and seek? After working all day, roller skating around in the hot sun, I kind of wish I could go back to those days.
I'm actually really enjoying my job. I've met a lot of cool people, my skating skills are getting much better and I'm making money! But, it can be a lot more tiring than I thought it would be. I've been coming home everyday and taking a nap so that I'm energetic enough to hang out with my friends at night. It's like I'm back in pre-school when they had scheduled nap times!
There are so many cute boys that hang out at the diner lately. I get so nervous taking their orders though. I feel kind of ridiculous in my uniform sometimes, like everyone is totally pointing and laughing at me. It's hard to strike up a conversation with a cute boy when you feel like a clown.
I've never really been very good at meeting guys. All the boys I've dated always asked me out or started talking to me first. I have no idea how to be the one to initiate things. Do any of you out there? Is it cool for a girl to ask for a number or is that weird? Do any of you girls ? I could use all the help I can get!
