When a 22nd century family accidentally gets trapped in the year 2004, they suddenly have to adjust to their new surroundings. Now you can own your fave Phil of the Future episodes on DVD! Get the goods on this cool new disc.

Gadgets & Gizmos - Life in the 21st Century

This Phil of the Future DVD includes four great episodes - Double Trouble, Age Before Beauty, My Way and Team Diffy. Each episode features Ricky Ullman as Phil, who's just trying to fit into his new school and neighborhood. Things were a little different in the year 2121, but Phil's got a ton of his space-age gadgets with him to help make life in the 21st century a little easier.

Phil of the Future - One Hundred Years of Technology

Phil of the Future is a show with lots of laughs. The sibling rivalry between Phil and Pim makes for some great scenes - like the time she sprays him with a gardening hose in the middle of the school courtyard! The thing that really makes Phil of the Future a top-notch show though is all the nifty gadgets that the Diffy family uses. From invisible spray to the New Ager - a device that make anything (or anyone) as old or young as you want - these futuristic devices have helped Phil get out of a few jams. But, they're also the cause of many sticky situations!

Gadgets & Gizmos - DVD Features

Get the 411 on all the cool and crazy gadgets and gizmos that the Diffy family own with the One-Stop Dream Shop Catalogue on this DVD. Each item has it's own pic and a commentator will give you the run-down on what each product can be used for. You can also check out what Ricky Ullman has to say about the episode titled, Team Diffy, as he comments throughout the episode on how a typical Phil of the Future episode is made!

Many of the reviews and critics say it's bad because they are only looking at it from 'comic to movie' perspective. It was still a really cool movie and you should go see it. I'd have to agree with this. The movie itself was great. I think some people looked at it poorly because they were expecting something more similar to the older films or comparing it too hard to the comics. I personally think that it was a great way to reinvent some of the characters.

"It's so hard to talk when you want to k-ll yourself. That's above and beyond everything else, and it's not a mental complaint-it's a physical thing, like it's physically hard to open your mouth and make the words come out. They don't come out smooth and in conjunction with your brain the way normal people's words do; they come out in chunks as if from a crushed-ice dispenser; you stumble on them as they gather behind your lower lip. So you just keep quiet.” Ned Vizzini, "It's Kind of a Funny Story"

“Isn't there something in living dangerously?' There's a great deal in it,' the Controller replied. 'Men and women must have their adrenals stimulated from time to time.' What?' questioned the Savage, uncomprehending. It's one of the conditions of perfect health. That's why we've made the V.P.S. treatments compulsory.' V.P.S.?' Violent Passion Surrogate. Regularly once a month. We flood the whole system with adrenin. It's the complete physiological equivalent of fear and rage. All the tonic effects of murdering Desdemona and being murdered by Othello, without any of the inconvenience.' But I like the inconveniences.' We don't,' said the Controller. 'We prefer to do things comfortably.' But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin.' In fact,' said Mustapha Mond, 'you're claiming the right to be unhappy. Not to mention the right to grow old and ugly and impotent; the right to have ######## and cancer, the right to have too little to eat; the right to be lousy; the right to live in constant apprehension of what may happen tomorrow; the right to catch typhoid; the right to be tortured by unspeakable pains of every kind.' There was a long silence. I claim them all,' said the Savage at last. Mustapha Mond shrugged his shoulders. 'You're welcome,' he said.”
