Nick Cannon Biography

Birthdate: October 8, 1980
Birthplace: San Diego, CA

Multi-talented star Nick Cannon is doing it all - acting, singing, dancing - with a great sense of humor. Get the goods on this cutie, who's starring in the rollerskating flick, Roll Bounce, with Bow Wow!

Nick Cannon - A Young Performer

Nick Cannon found his calling at eight years old, when his grandfather gave him several instruments as a gift. After a lot of practice, he recorded his first song on his boom box and then formed the rap duo, Da Bomb Squad, with his best friend. They opened for musical superstars like Will Smith, Montell Jordan and 98 Degrees! At 16, he headed for the hills of Hollywood to work the stand-up comedy circuit, but was soon cast in the Nickelodeon show, All That, and then landed his own show, The Nick Cannon Show. Next came movie roles in Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing with Christina Milian, Underclassman and his latest flick, Roll Bounce with Bow Wow.

Nick Cannon - From Actor to Singer

Nick Cannon has also been busy on the music scene. After recording songs for the soundtracks to Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing and a few Nickelodeon shows, he released his self-titled debut album in 2003, collaborating with several big names including R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige and B2K. Look out for his upcoming sophomore disc, Stages, to hit shelves sometime in 2005. It features a hit single called Can I Live?, an emotional song that's dedicated to his mom!

Nick Cannon - Did U Know?

Nick Cannon Says...

"I make sure it's in my contract - every movie I do, I have to kiss somebody. My first, with Zoe Saldana in Drumline, was nominated for MTV Movie Awards Best Kiss. Spider-Man won. You can't beat a guy hanging upside down."

Alright let me start out by saying that, I do not think you should be forced to like anime. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions out what they watch. But their is some bogus reason to why people say they hate it. 1. "Anime is For Kids" - Alright we all know this isn't true. Sure some are directed towards kids but ones like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack On Titan, Boku no Pico, and several others that would definitely change people's mind. 2. "Anime is a bad influence" - And Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Walking Dead arent?  3. "Anime has very inappropriate messages to them that are harmful to children and adults" - Doesnt everything have their little "parodies" of the original that may have a rating of Triple X? If its out there, there is a "parody" of it. Not just anime.
