2006 has arrived - which means it's time for me to come down from my Christmas sugar buzz and head back to school. Boooo!!!! That's the thing about Christmas break... it's a blast while it lasts, but it always sucks when it comes to an end and you have to return to the grind of school and homework. But I suppose if you were on vacation every day, you'd never look forward to it. Speaking of looking forward... I've made a few New Year's Resolutions, which hopefully I'll be able to keep for most of 2006.
Get Sponsored - I think 2006 is going to be the year of Simon the sponsored skateboarder! If I can get a cool skate video made and do well at a few competitions, I could be enjoying the life of free skate gear, tons of adoring fans and some extra cash to buy an Xbox 360.
Keep Up My Grades - I'm never done really well in school, but I'm hoping that's going to change this year. Better grades will mean less stress for me, less nagging from my 'rents and hopefully an increase in my allowance.
Spend Less Time In Detention - I spent almost as much time in detention in 2005 as I did at the skatepark. Not very cool or much fun. If I can stay on top of my homework and make it to class on time, my TID (Time In Detention) should be dramatically reduced in 2006.
