Seussical the Musical - From Seuss to Song
Seussical the Musical is about an
imaginative boy named
Jojo who discovers a strange red and white striped
top hat. He wonders what kind of person would wear such a hat, when
The Cat in the Hat magically appears! As they sing and jump from one adventure to another,
famous Seussian characters come and go, including
The Whos, Horton the Elephant and Gertrude McFuzz.
Seussical the Musical - Audition 411
Seussical the Musical is holding an
open casting call in Buena Park,
California until
September 23, 2006. Roles are open to both guys and girls between the ages of 9 and 18. You'll be required to
sing and dance - after all, it is a
musical! Be prepared to
sing a song, but stay away from
pop music. You'll also learn a short
dance routine on the day of auditions, so remember to bring your dancing shoes! You must be accompanied by a
parent or legal guardian.

Horton the Elephant

Sour Kangaroo
Mayzie La Bird

Various jungle creatures
You may not be familiar with all of these characters, so head to your local library to
read as many of Dr. Seuss' books as you can. If you're going to
perform the role, you're going to have to
know the character inside out!
