Seussical the Musical is about an imaginative boy named Jojo who discovers a strange red and white striped top hat. He wonders what kind of person would wear such a hat, when The Cat in the Hat magically appears! Seussical the Musical is holding an open casting call in Buena Park, California until September 23, 2006. Roles are open to both guys and girls between the ages of 9 and 18. You'll be required to sing and dance - after all, it is a musical! Be prepared to sing a song, but stay away from pop music. You'll also learn a short dance routine on the day of auditions, so remember to bring your dancing shoes! Seussical the Musical is looking for kids and teens to play the following roles.You may not be familiar with all of these characters, so head to your local library to read as many of Dr. Seuss' books as you can. If you're going to perform the role, you're going to have to know the character inside out!
