UFS - Universal Fighting System Card Game Review
Battle your friends with your fave fighting video game characters with the UFS card game! Here’s Gary’s review
What’s the UFS? It’s Sabertooth Games’ Universal Fighting System - a card game that lets you play your fave fighting video game characters in [KWLINK ]martial arts[/KWLINK] battles against your friends! It includes characters from games like Street Fighter, Soulcalibur, King of Fighters and even the gamer geeks from the online webcomic Penny Arcade! Gary shuffled a few decks to bring you his UFS card game review.
UFS - Card Game Battle BasicsThe Universal Fighting System card game turns all the characters, items and moves from the greatest fighting games in the world into cards. You can play as any character and each one has different special abilities, Health and cards they can play. Other cards give you attacks or power you up so you can use stronger cards. To win, knock your opponent’s Health down to 0!
UFS - Super Smashin’ Action!Playing as your fave video game character is cool, battling characters from different video games is even cooler. UFS finally lets you have a showdown between Ken and Astaroth, or Morrigan and Blanka! Multiple versions of each character make it easy to get one, and easy to make different decks with each character.
UFS - The Video Games are Cooler Because…They have awesome soundtracks! Ok, ok, so you can pop a CD in and get the same tunes with the card game. The biggest bummer with the UFS card game is the instructions. They’re confusing and make it hard to learn to play. If you can get someone to show you how it works you’re way better off.
UFS - Ultimate or Unbearable?Combining tons of video game characters, cool artwork and awesome combos, the Universal Fighting System card game delivers a serious punch. Just make sure you can get someone to show you how to play.
