Nickelodeon has cancelled the sitcom Sam and Cat (starring Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy) after just one season. The show combined characters from two different shows - Sam from iCarly and Cat from Victorious, starting an after-school babysitting business.
Rumors of a disagreement between Jennette and Nickelodeon and between the two co-stars have been circulating for awhile, although Ariana publicly stated it wasn't true and that there was no difference between the their salaries. Jennette did not appear at the most recent Kids Choice Awards, and Ariana took to Twitter to write out a heartfelt goodbye to the show and it's fans.
"I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago."
Our fave diva Demi Lovato has just released some bright and bold cover art for her single "Really Don't Care." Demi recently dished about the tune and what it means to her on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
“Whether its a break-up song or it’s just saying that you really don’t care what other people think, I think it’s an anthem for people. It’s something that everyone can relate to, whether you’ve been bullied or you’re going through a bad breakup.”

Starlet Vanessa Hudgens is trying inspire a trend in her new ad campaign with Bongo clothing. The 25-year-old actress' Fall 2014 photo shoot for the clothing company is missing something that most campaigns have - photoshop! Vanessa said no to filters and retouching, and appears just as she would have on set - beautiful!
"I love that the final ad images are unretouched. It’s so important for girls to remember that real beauty shines from within and I’m so proud that Bongo is choosing to send such a positive message with this campaign."
British pop star Pixie Lott is giving fans a sneak peek at her upcoming album, due out next month! The 23-year-old singer wrote fans a letter about the self-titled album, explaining:
“I wanted to record a soul influenced album as it’s the music I grew up to. I thought it would be perfect to do that sound for this album.”

OneRepublic's new music video for "Ordinary Human" gives audiences a sneak peek at unseen footage from the upcoming teen sci-fi movie The Giver, based on the novel by Louis Lowry.
The haunting story of The Giver centers on Jonas (Brenton Thwaites), a young man who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Yet as he begins to spend time with The Giver (Jeff Bridges), who is the sole keeper of all the community’s memories, Jonas quickly begins to discover the dark and deadly truths of his community’s secret past. With this newfound power of knowledge, he realizes that the stakes are higher than imagined – a matter of life and death for himself and those he loves most. At extreme odds, Jonas knows that he must escape their world to protect them all – a challenge that no one has ever succeeded at before.

She may not be a wizard in real life, but just like her Harry Potter character Hermione Granger actress Emma Watson has a heart of gold and a brain to match, and she was recently appointed as a a UN Women’s Global Ambassador! The 24-year-old actress completed her degree at Brown University last month and is now part of the UN at just 24-years-old. Congratulations Emma!
