You said you were emotional when your grandfather died, but in my case, I lack emotions. I'm not saddened by the fact that she's passing on, but instead I'm more like in shock, if that's the right word for what I'm feeling. I've been trying all day to come up with something for my message, but the only line I have is "I'm going to miss you".

My grandmother was diagnosed with liver cancer around two months ago, and she had gotten better. All of a sudden she landed in the hospital last week because of a urinary tract infection that has pretty much turned her into a vegetable (a person who is impaired physically/mentally). The doctors say that she's fine, but she isn't responding to anyone who is talking to her.
I know that my grandmother is dying, and I doubt she'll last another week. The thing is that I live in a different country and I don't have the money to go all the way to Mexico to visit her. So I decided to send a message to one of my aunts (her daughters) to tell her that I'm going to miss her.
But I need help. I have difficulty with projecting my emotions into words, so I don't know what exactly to say. The same thing happened when my other grandma died (my mom's mom).
I really need some help. If I don't say anything, I know I'll be guilty for the rest of my life and my family members might end up hating me for not saying anything.
i am a country girl thru and thru but i have heard some non country songs like heartbeat song by kelly clarkson and i am starting to like those better than country music. am i not a country girl any more? what do i do?
