It's here and it brought everybody with it! The rumbling thunder you hear outside is the noise of everybody running to the game store to grab a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii. This epic fighting game is a smash-up brawler that lets you and a bunch of friends play as some of the most famous video game characters ever and see who can thump the other in to orbit. Is it fun? Find out with our game review.
Royal Rumble, Nintendo Style
This game is all about crazy cartoony battles. It gives you 35 video game legends to control, each with their own moves and style. Once you're ready, you can go nuts on 40 levels - battle arenas, recreations of other games, and some just plain weird ones. You win by knocking your opponent around, making them fly further each time you whap 'em until they go sailing off the screen. It's crazy multiplayer fun for up to 32 players, and you can even take the mayhem online! There's also a single-player story about a Subspace Emissary that everybody needs to team up to defeat - but you can play that with your friends too!174% Awesome
There are so many things that make this game fantastic, starting with controls so easy that anybody can have a ton of fun playing. Then there are Sonic vs. Mario vs. Pikachu vs. Link showdowns, insane moves for each character, multiplayer options galore and graphics that look fantastic, even when things get crowded. Not only can you customize every battle, picking the power-ups and rules, you can also build your own levels! The online modes are great too, there's almost no lag and still lots of options, especially with friend code matches.Battle Bummers?
The biggest bummer in this whole game is that you can't take your custom levels online. That's it.Final Score!
It's awesome. Truly awesome. It doesn't matter who you are, this is THE game for the Wii. Get it now before everybody points and laughs because you don't have it. You and your friends will be playing this game for years and years and years and them some more. Best. Game. Ever.Thumbs Up:
