The Backstreet Boys are set to resume their Black and Blue Tour with a healthier A.J. McLean - Country singer Shania Twains a mom and No Doubt dish the dirt on their upcoming album.

1Fans were thrilled to learn A.J. McLean is ready to join the Backstreet Boys for the rest of their Black & Blue Tour. The tour, which had been postponed twice because of A.J.'s rehab, will continue in Milwaukee on August 24th.

According to band member Howie Dorough, A.J. is "doing great." He also commented on the recent time off saying, "It was definitely an unexpected break here that we had. We took advantage of it - we're all rested up now, we're psyched up, we're ready to get back out there. We've had a chance to sit back and really think about all this - (time off) gave us a chance to really re-evaluate our lives and our careers and our health."

1Shania Twain is a mommy! The country diva and hubby Mutt Lange are the proud parents of a lil' baby boy. Eja, (pronounced "Asia") was born August 12th but details of his birth haven't been disclosed. Did you even know Shania was pregnant? The couple, and latest family member, live in Switzerland.

1Expect a new CD from pop alternative group No Doubt - December 18, 2001. The upcoming album will be titled Rock Steady and will be the fourth album for the band. The album is said to be their most adventurous effort to date. Guitarist, Tom Dumont posted on their Web site saying, "So far it sounds like a heavy, synthed-out, dub dancehall, disco party."

The follow up to Return of Saturn was recorded in LA, London and Jamaica. Some of the song titles include Hey Baby, Detective, Making Out and Hella Good.

1The Source Hip-Hop Music Awards were taped on August 20, 2001 at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Florida. This year's event went off without a hitch, unlike last years award show in Pasadena, California which was shut down by the police after a bunch of fights broke out in the crowd and 75 people from the audience rushed the stage. Things got out of control and the show was cancelled.

Organizers changed the security procedures for this year's show so there wouldn't be a repeat of last year's commotion. The show will air August 28th on UPN and will recognize the best artists in the world of hip-hop.
