Backstreets back! Finally the guys have hit the road with a new tour, new tunes and a rockin new show which may be just what they need to reclaim their title as most popular boy band.

No doubt about it Backstreets back all right! And it's about time. With the guys out of the spotlight for a while, rival bands like *NSYNC have moved in and taken over, but now they're back with a new tour, new tunes and a rockin' new show.

The Backstreet Boys hit the stage after an electrifying meteor shower of exploding pyrotechnics and crazy digital visuals that got the crowd pumped. Dancers landed on stage as though they were thrown from meteorites and then the fab five rose up through the floor and everyone went crazy.

They played a lot of new stuff from Black & Blue, but didn't forget some old favorites. One of the coolest parts of the show is when they all climbed into a giant wardrobe trunk, which actually led to their dressing room. We saw glimpses of the guys changing (Ooh baby!) and then things really got out of control when Brian whipped out a can of crazy string and went berserk on AJ's face. No one was safe!

Next thing you know they're out of the dressing room and have popped up on a mini stage all the way at the other end of the stadium. They were so close you could almost touch them as they sang a few ballads. Just when you thought they were close they got even closer when a long catwalk was lowered to the small stage leading back to the main stage. The crowd went nuts as they took their sweet time singing and walking back to the other side. About mid-way Kevin noticed a young girl being lifted up to the bridge. With no body guards or anything Kevin laid down on the walkway and reached for the fan. Since he couldn't reach her head with his lips, he kissed his own hand and rubbed the top of her head with it. Now there's a girl who may never wash her hair again!

Other high points for me included the fabulous Backstreet's Back, werewolfs not included and Larger Than Life which really got the crowd dancing. Another girl got to sit with Nick on stage while he was singing - very cool. And yet another fan got to sing part of a song when AJ gave her his mike. My fave song of the night was The Call. It began with AJ's cell phone ringing and he asks the audience if he should answer it. Of course he does and then they break into an awesome performance of The Call. I didn't really like the song before, but after seeing it live I love it!

This spectacular tour proves BSB's break last year only made them better. If you're lucky enough to have them come to your city be sure to rock your body on down to get tickets - it's a total trip!
