Summer is fast approaching, so put away your jackets, umbrellas and rain boots and come check out the top teen fashion trends of the season!
Tops
Patterns, like florals, stars and ethnic prints, continue to be popular and can be seen on everything from tops and shorts to sundresses and bags. But, if patterns aren't your thing, then just reach for something that's really bright and colorful. After all, summer is the season for colors, so put away those dark clothes until the fall.
Shorts
Just like with jeans, the high waist is in high demand for shorts! If you're not sure what to wear with a pair of high-waisted denim shorts, try tucking in a voluminous tank top so that it blouses out, making your waist look tiny! Tops with a looser fit are much more comfortable during the hot summer months than something that's tight and fitted anyway.
Shoes
Ditch the flip flops in favor of gladiator sandals. They're the trendiest shoe of the summer and will make your outfit - even if it's just shorts and an old T-shirt - pop much more than any other shoe will. From ankle-length to knee-length straps, gladiator sandals come in all sorts of styles, but our fave is the one that buckles at the ankle.
