On her second album, Identified, Vanessa Hudgens reminds us that she's a serious triple threat. Kidzworld has the review.

Vanessa Hudgens:: Identified

Vanessa rode her role in High School Musical into becoming one of Disney’s darlings. Young, pretty, and talented, Vanessa is now 19, and seems to want to push out of the cutesy mold and into pop princess territory. The production value of the album is top notch, and the songs have hints of Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears. Definitely good pros to follow. Sneakernight is a fun dance tune, and Did It Ever Cross Your Mind and Identified have pop hit written all over them. Though her voice is still maturing, Vanessa is at her best when she has a jazzy, urban edge, like in Gone with the Wind, but she definitely holds her own on ballads, namely Don’t Leave and Paper Cut. With a little dance, a little soul, and a touch of synthesizer for good measure, Identified is a solid bridge between the Mickey Mouse Club and the night club.

Rapper Lil Mama is featured on the song Amazed.

The song Hook It Up features Rock Mafia.

In the iTunes release of the album, Did It Ever Cross Your Mind and Gone With the Wind were switched.
