Every great TV series has a second life on DVD, and Smallville's no exception. Here, Kidzworld takes a look at the last five seasons of Smallville on DVD. So stop leaping tall buildings and come watch, already.

Season Seven DVD

This was the season of Clark’s cousin Kara (aka Supergirl) coming to Smallville, of Lana divorcing Lex (thankfully!), of the super secret Veritas society and the murder of Lionel Luthor at Lex’s hand. But don’t forget about Clark’s battle with the shape-shifting Bizarro, Lex’s purchase of the Daily Planet and the return of the super computer Brainiac, who put Lana in a coma. Oh, and Pete’s back! Everything ended with a big showdown in the Fortress of Solitude, and with the lives of many of Smallville’s residents hanging in the balance. Extras include a cool look at the history of Supergirl and a roundtable discussion with the four actors who have played Jimmy Olsen since 1951.

Season Six DVD

Another emotional season of Smallville is now available on DVD. Clark and Lex are no longer friends, Lana seeks solace in Lex, new characters like Jimmy Olsen and Oliver Queen are introduced and major characters die. There really isn't a dull moment to be found in these 22 episodes. DVD extras include deleted scenes and multiple featurettes that take a closer look at the new Smallville additions like Oliver (AKA the Green Arrow!).

Rating:5

Season Five DVD

Season five of Smallville finds Clark Kent starting classes at Central Kansas University and his step up to accept his destiny as Superman! There are more mysteries, more tangled webs and an unfortunate event where not even Clark can save the day. Extras include a Making of the 100th episode of Smallville, some cool unaired scenes, a still gallery and commentary for two of the 22 episodes.

Rating:4

Season Four DVD

Superman enters his last year of high school in season four of Smallville. There are just as many mysteries to solve, Clark's all-time crush Lana Lang gets a boyfriend at the same time pain-in-the-butt Lois Lane arrives in town. Will Clark forget about Lana now that Lois is in Smallville? Can Clark and Lex continue their friendship? You'll have to find out by picking up your copy of season four! The set includes lots of bonuses including commentary from one of the original Lois Lane's, Margot Kidder.

Season Three DVD
