Dancing with the Stars Season 11: Finale
After a season of shocking eliminations, Dancing with the Stars Season 11 ended on a positive note, awarding the most deserving couple the Mirror Ball Trophy. Jennifer and Derek, whose fate in the competition was constantly tested by Jennifer’s injuries, walked away with the win.

This week the couples each performed four routines—two on Monday and two on the elimination show. All their scores were totalled and combined with America’s votes to calculate the winners. It was a wonder that Jennifer and Derek got to dance at all on the elimination show because Jennifer ruptured a disc on performance night. But the doctor healed her up and she took her chances. And it certainly paid off.
On Monday night, Jennifer and Derek earned a perfect 60 points with their Tango and freestyle routine. Kyle and Lacey came in second with 56 points for their Foxtrot and Hip-Hop freestyle. And Bristol and Mark came in third with 52 points for their two routines, including their freestyle Tango.
The Return of the Eliminated Constants
On Tuesday, Christina Aguilera performed, along with all the eliminated contestants from season 11 (except for Audrina Patridge and Michael Bolton). Then the final three couples got to strut their stuff with their choice of routine, as well as a final Cha-Cha. Here are the final standings.
- 1st place: Jennifer and Derek
- 2nd place: Kyle and Lacey
- 3rd place: Bristol and Mark
