Miss Piggy is back! Yes, the world’s best-dressed diva returns to the spotlight in Disney’s The Muppets. Want an insight into the fashion of the movie? Want some beauty tips from the Hollywood glamor queen? With the Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD of The Muppets about to be released, we catch up with the fashionista to find out the answers to all these questions – and much, much more…

Can we talk fashion, Miss Piggy? What are you wearing today?

[Pointing at her outfit] This is called a jacket. And this is called a dress!

We know that… But is it a designer jacket and dress?

This is off the rack. However, I do have a number of very, very high-end fashion designers in my new movie, The Muppets. I was even dressed by Zac Posen for one of the scenes.

What do you think of the fashion in your new movie?

I adore the fashion of The Muppets. I had so many wonderful outfits to wear for the cameras. Thankfully, somebody looks after my wardrobe for me because I have no idea what I’m wearing at any given time – but I loved everything I wore on the set.

What’s your favorite fashion piece from the film?

I love my Zac Posen dress, but I also have a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes that were designed especially for me – and I absolutely adore them. I will keep them forever. They are so sparkly and cute. They are beautiful.

Who are your fashion icons, Miss Piggy?

Fashion icons? Well, there’s moi, moi and moi…

Are you a fan of Lady Gaga’s iconic fashion sense?

You know what? I’m very flattered by Lady Gaga. Why? Well, let’s put it this way… Because it’s pretty obvious she derives her inspiration from moi.

You play the plus-size fashion editor of Vogue Paris in your new movie. Would you like a career in fashion?

Do I get lots of free clothes? Do I get to go to all the fashion shows? If so, yes. That sounds great. Well, as long as I can still do movies with my Kermie.

Have you got any fashion tips for plus-sized women?

I’m sorry, but I know nothing about that.

Have you got any regular fashion tips you can share with us?

Sadly, nobody can expect to look as good as moi – but I think it’s important to come up with your own personal style. Make sure it’s something that you feel comfortable with.

Who is your most glamorous friend out of all the Muppets?

I don’t really have a good glam pal. Janice and I had a good time on the set, but we don’t see each other outside of work. You know what? I think I need a glam pal. Every girl should have one. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Do you ever offer fashion advice to Kermit?

I have one piece of fashion advice for Kermit. I tell him again and again, but he never listens. What is the advice? Wear some clothes once in a while!

How embarrassed do you get when you walk around with a naked frog by your side?

I really don’t mind. Well, I might be lying a little there. To tell you the truth, it is embarrassing sometimes – but what can you do?

What is your favorite lip gloss?

I like strawberries, but I hate those little seeds because they get stuck in your teeth. You wind up picking them out all day long, which is why I like strawberry lip gloss. It doesn’t have the seeds. It’s much nicer.

Do you worry about your weight?

No. Never. In fact, I’m very lucky because I have somebody who eats all those yucky vegetables for me. That helps keep me in shape.

Do you feel confident in a swimsuit?

I’m very comfortable in my swimsuit and I’m not envious of girls with longer legs because they’d look very weird on me. Well, I’m only three feet tall!

Do you stick to a tough fitness regime to stay looking so toned and youthful?

Listen, I work hard on maintaining this figure. I have a very strict workout regimen. My trainer goes through it every day – and there are even some days when I actually show up.

What is your top beauty tip, Miss Piggy?

My top beauty tip is simple: always smile. When you smile, people can do nothing but smile back and love you, which everyone does. Everyone loves me.

How do you keep your skin looking so beautiful?

I drink plenty of water. I eat right and I roll in the mud. I am a pig after all and it’s good for your skin.

What other beauty secrets can you share?

A lot of people don’t know this, but chocolate works wonders. It’s great because it feels like you’re starting on the inside and working your way outside. If you’re good on the inside, you’re going to look great on the outside. Eat a lot of chocolate, girls! Trust me on this one. You’ll be very, very happy if you do.
