Nelly Gets Derrty with Nike

Superstar rapper, Nelly, and superstar shoemakers, Nike, are joining forces to make you a derrty deal. Nelly-inspired Nike shoes! Not only will you score from this sweet deal, but so will kids in need. Proceeds from shoes sold will benefit 4Sho4Kids, Nelly's non-profit foundation that helps out kids with developmental disabilities, like Down Syndrome, or kids who are born addicted to drugs.

The new, Air Derrty, Nike shoes will be available June 13, 2003. There are a few catches though peeps, so listen up! Air Derrty shoes are only available at NIKEtown stores in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Or, at Squad1 Sporting Goods in Nelly's hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. And, the biggest catch of all; there are only 1,000 pairs of Air Derrty shoes out there! Nike says they expect the Nelly shoes to sell out within an hour.

Kidzworld will supply you with the addresses of all the participating stores, so hopefully you can snag a pair of Nelly's Air Derrtys. But, don't get all WWE on the other shoppers, okay? These Nike-Nelly shoes are available on June 13, 2003 at:

New York NIKEtown

6 East 57th St.
New York, NY.

Los Angeles NIKEtown

9560 Wilshire Blvd.
Beverly Hills, CA.

Chicago NIKEtown

669 N. Michigan Ave.
Chicago, Il.

Squad1 Sporting Goods

6372 Delmar St.
St. Louis, MO.

Good luck Nelly fans, but remember - shop nice!

They're throwing each other in the air, performing possibly dangerous stunts, not even mentioning that they have to wear those skimpy outfits in freezing weather.  And also, my sister got a severe head injury and a sprained neck while doing a stunt. That's more injured than i've seen a basketball player get.

So it's not really a sport. It still looks fun though. Actually, cheerleaders do compete. There are cheer competitions.  Agree! 9o9
