Rachel's spunky attitude helped her enter the acting industry when she was only seven years old. She landed her first gig in the film, The Wrong Guys, starring comedian Louie Anderson, and then went on to bigger and better roles. She starred in theatrical productions of The Crucible and Bye Bye Birdie, and several TV shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter.

Rachel's big break came in the form of Summer Roberts on Fox's hit series, The O.C. She plays the ultimate party girl, spoiled beauty, and best friend to Marissa Cooper (played by Mischa Barton).
