Jeremy Sumpter - Small Town Beginnings
This former Kentucky farm boy has come a long way from life in a small town. When he was 11 years old, he entered the International Model and Talent Association in Kentucky and won numerous awards, including the Preteen Male Model of the Year award. Jeremy then decided to give acting a try and moved to LA, where he got his first role in the movie Frailty, starring Matthew McConaughey.Jeremy Sumpter - Off to Neverland
Jeremy's leap to stardom came through his lead role in Peter Pan, which is probably why his nickname is Pete! He was chosen from a worldwide search and even won awards for his performance, including the 2004 Saturn Award and the 2004 Young Artist Award. Jeremy trained extensively in sword fighting and gymnastics prior to filming Peter Pan.
