Jesse McCartney's love for acting began when his parents, who are actors and singers, would put on community plays involving the whole family. But at the age of nine, he started to pursue his own acting roles and won the part of Louis in the play, The King and I. With a few theater credits under his belt, he landed his first TV gig as Adam Chandler Jr. on All My Children.

Jesse McCartney - Surfing in Summerland

Jesse McCartney now stars as Bradin Westerly on the hit WB show, Summerland. He learned to surf for his character, who moves from smalltown Kansas to sunny California after facing a family tragedy. In the first season, Bradin gets drunk, crushes on his hot - but much older - surfing instructor and even gets into a fight to protect her!

Jesse McCartney - Exploring His Emotions

Jesse McCartney's acting career isn't the only thing that's on fire. He recently released his solo debut album, Beautiful Soul - it's filled with soul-infused pop songs about his experiences with girls and relationships. He's already seeing success as a solo artist, as his songs have been featured on the soundtracks for Ella Enchanted, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and That's So Raven. But before Jesse launched his solo career, he was a member of both the Sugar Beats and Dream Street, which opened for Britney Spears' Onyx Hotel tour.
