Spooky Halloween Crafts

Oct 23, 2017

What would Halloween be without jack-o'-lanterns, trick or treating and sweet treats? Invite your friends over this Halloween weekend to share in the spirit of the scariest day of the year!

Halloween Crafts - Jack-O'-Lanterns

  • Nosey Pumpkin - Flip your pumpkin on its side and use the stem as a nose. Cut a hole in the actual bottom of the pumpkin in order to remove the seeds and place the candle inside.
  • Sick Pumpkin - Keep all the seeds and gunk and let it hang out of the pumpkin's mouth to look like barf. Yuck!
  • Mr. Pumpkin Head - Along with your pumpkin, you'll need four zucchinis. On the side of the pumpkin, create two holes at eye level and two just below the mouth. They should be just big enough for the zucchinis to fit into.
  • Squash?! - A cousin of the pumpkin, squashs come in all different shapes and sizes and can be used in the same way. Try a tall butternut squash for the tallest Jack O'Lantern on the block!
  • Pumpkin Family - Carve four or five pumpkins of different sizes and line them up from tallest to shortest.
  • Totem Pole - Carve different faces into three pumpkins. Stack them from largest (on the bottom) to smallest (on top).
  • Pumpkin Snake - You'll need lots of pumpkins for this one! Carve a snake face into a large pumpkin and a design into the others. Arrange them from largest (starting with the head) to smallest.
