Shut Up was recorded to appease her record label, and was made at a time when Kelly was feeling pretty lost. Sleeping in the Nothing digs deep and reveals the real Kelly Osbourne - exploring many of her personal demons. Not only are the beats catchy, the lyrics are meaningful and very personal. A great combination!

Sleeping in the Nothing was recorded while Kelly was in rehab for her addiction to painkillers. She was allowed to leave during the day with a chaperon to record and then would return back to the rehab center.

Producer Linda Perry produced and co-wrote on Sleeping in the Nothing. She also worked on Gwen Stefani's solo album, Love.Angel.Music.Baby.

The song One Word refers to when all Sharon Osbourne said was Kelly's name and she knew she was being sent to rehab.

Sleeping in the Nothing has a real '80s vibe to it - if you're a fan of new-wave, electro-pop, this is a must-have CD.
