B5 Interview (pg. 2)

B5 is called the next generation's Jackson Five!

Sindy: Who's your fave singer?
B5: We listen to a lot of Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Outkast, Usher.

Sindy: What's life like when you're at home, away from the spotlight and not singing or performing?
B5: We play video games and basketball, go to the movies and hang out with our friends. Yeah, we like to chill with our friends, but we don't get to do that much anymore cuz we're on tour.

Sindy: How's the tour going?
B5: It's doing great. The shows we're doing are crazy, everybody seems to be loving them. We just came back from Washington from doing a show. We kinda got kicked out of Washington cuz the girls were acting too crazy, like they kept passing out, pushing each other on the stage. So they're like, "You guys have to leave! These girls are too crazy! You guys are causing mayhem! Get out of the building now!" And we were like, "Can we at least sign autographs?" They were like, "No, the best thing for you guys is to leave!" That's a good thing though.

Sindy: What was your weirdest fan experience?
B5: Some girl threw some panties up on stage. And then Patrick picked them up!

Sindy: Do any of you guys have girlfriends?
B5: No, we're all single.

Sindy: What qualities do you look for in a girl?
B5: She's got to be real cool, down-to-earth, have a nice personality, can't be all uptight and stuck up. She's got to be funny too, someone you can crack jokes with. She has to have a sense of humor.

Sindy: Do you have any celebrity crushes?
B5: Yep, Halle Berry, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, that one girl from that Lemony Snicket movie - she looks good.

Sindy: Who's the coolest celeb you've met so far?
B5: Mike Biv from New Edition, he's real cool. Usher's real cool, Carmen's real cool.

Sindy: Any plans to work with Usher in the future?
B5: We hope so. We're tight, we just see him every once in awhile and say, "Hey, what's up?" but we haven't really worked with anyone yet.

Sindy: Any plans to go solo in the future?
B5: No, not right now. We're not even thinking about going solo right now. We're just trying to focus on the B5 stuff.

Sindy: So what are the future plans for B5?
B5: Kelly's going to start his own clothing line, Patrick's starting his own shoe line, Dustin's going to be making beats and producing, and I'm going to have my own record label, my own studio, it's going to be great.

I saw the premiere before I left and I have to say, I was somewhat impressed. Of course it's not as good as BMW but I think they have good potential.

I was very impressed by the first episode of Doctor Who I watched which I believe was called "Rose". It was creepy  but with enough of a hint of humor that it made for an enjoyable and interesting program. Me and my dad will definitely be continuing to watch more and more episodes of Doctor Who in the future.

The answer, obviously, is Doctor Who. The show has technically been running for almost 51 years. It's  a British T.V. show about an alien with two hearts who has been living for over 1,000 years, with a time machine that can travel anywhere, or anytime, in the universe. But there's a catch to his machine, which is known as a T.A.R.D.I.S, (Time And Relative Dimension In Space): It is forever broken and disguised as a 1950's telephone box. He chooses not to fix it, despite the companions he travels with wondering to themselves, "Why doesn't he fix it? Why did he have to break it as telephone police box?" He also tends to attempt to keep the companions for as long as possible. They tend to keep him in check, safe, sane, and non-genocidal. After all, being 1,800 years old, and I'm just guessing precisely how old he is, can make you feel lonely, angry, confused, scared, and vengeful. He had to destroy his whole planet to protect the rest of the universe from being destroyed by his people and their age old enemies, the Daleks. He will forevermore remember that day, and as punishment, from the self concious weapon he used, will have to live through for a long, long time.
